I don’t know who dropped off that Christmas jar, but I do know that everything happens for a reason

Moscow, Idaho—

Just before Thanksgiving, I quit my job due to a bad work environment. Since then, I’ve been applying and interviewing for jobs, but with no luck so far. After talking with church leaders and getting some much needed help, Christmas miracles started happening.

It started with a church leader giving us money from another person/family who wanted to help someone else out during the Christmas season. The next day, it was a homemade loaf of bread, some chocolate squares, and an Amazon gift card gifted by the wonderful ladies in our church.

The next day, we stepped outside to figure out if it was our car alarm going off, only to find a Christmas bag on our front step. Inside was a copy of the book Christmas Jars, and our very own Christmas jar full of coins. No note, no one knocked on the door, nothing further was said.

I don’t know who dropped off that Christmas jar, but I do know that everything happens for a reason, and I’m so grateful that so many people have been willing to help my husband and I until we can get back on our feet.

There are still so many good people out there, and I hope that someday, in the near future, my husband and I can start our own Christmas jar and help others the way that we’ve been helped through our trying time.
