Thank you whoever you are I will never forget your kindness

Stockton, California—

This has been the toughest year of my life. I lost my brother this year and both of my beloved dogs. I have been struggling all year to keep it together and be strong but it hasn’t been easy at all. As Christmas approached all I could think of was how sad it is that my brother can’t be here with me as last Christmas was the last holiday we got to spend together. My boyfriend and I came home last night from a friends house to find a large jar full of coins and the book sitting on top of it. I had never heard of Christmas jars so I was so puzzled as to what we were to do with it. I read the book within an hour of being home and I just sobbed. Whoever left this jar you have no idea how much you’ve touched my heart. Thank you for giving me back the true feeling of Christmas. LOVE. I will now be doing this myself next year. Thank you whoever you are I will never forget your kindness.
