Rexburg, Idaho —
My name is Alyssa Sutton (formerly Woodcook). You spoke a youth conference that was mission themed when I was a teen. After that conference I started following your journey as an author, and I have been a long admirer of the christmas jar tradition. And I think im gonna have to start one now. My husband recently lost his job and we have to move because rent is to expensive now. My son goes to speech therapy and we mentioned we were moving and they asked why and I filled them in. Well today at speech therapy, I was presented an anonymous gift from someone at the office who had heard about our situation, and it was your book, the christmas jar, and a christmas jar. I couldnt help but cry at the miracle that was being given. With so much uncertainty right now, recieving this thoughtful gift is such a massive blessing. I dont know who our gifter was, but i figured sharing the story with you was a great way to honor their gift to us, and sharing what a blessing it is to us.
