I read your book in 2006 so I started the tradition in 2007. I have given jars to people who need money or just a little hope. This year I read an article in our local newspaper about a 9 year old with Downs Syndrome who bakes cookies. His sister also has Downs. I was so touched by his story I gave him the jar. I told Donnie and his family that it’s supposed to be anonymous but I had to meet the little guy. They now are going to start their own jar. Whenever I have given a jar I have received much more than the receiver. The jar has “changed” $$ my life. Blessings
