Tonight someone knocked really hard on the door and then left quickly in their car. My stepson asked if we ordered anything out for dinner, because someone just delivered a bag. It was heavy. We looked thru the bag to find two books by Jason F. Wright and a jar full of money, paper and coins, along with $15 Kroger gift card, (grocery store gift card). There was no clue of who left it for us. We quickly researched all we could about Christmas Jars, since this was the first time we ever heard about it.
Thank you so much for your anonymous gift! I appreciated that my young stepson got to witness such kindness. We’re grateful to learn of this tradition and we’re going to start making our jars for next Christmas to give away.
