May God bless the givers of the jars!

Danville, Virginia

My husband went into the hospital on December 9, 2016 and on the 10th was put on a ventilator. My children and I were told he probably would never leave the hospital because he was very sick. Money was extremely tight for us as I was using what I had for gas and food to be able to be with him. We spent Christmas at the hospital, which for us was 1 1/2 hours away from home. We made that trip daily with the exception of 3 days. On December 28, my husband came home!!! And on New Years Eve I received my Christmas jar, along with other items, including the book entitled Christmas Jars. I am humbled and forever grateful to the anonymous person who thought enough of me to give me their jar! I too will start a Christmas Jar to pass along next year…. May God bless the givers of the jars!
