Baroda, Michigan
My mother, Joyce, my younger brother, Patrick, and I were getting out of the car after coming home from a long day of work and school, when we noticed a decorated box sitting on our front steps. Quickly, my brother and I raced to see what was inside, but because it was dark outside, we could not see what it enclosed.
When my mother picked it up, she commented about how heavy it was, and when we got inside to see what was in the box, tears began to fill in our eyes when we came to the realization that inside, there were jars upon jars filled with money inside. We have yet to count the money, but we plan on donating most of it to a local homeless shelter and also some to our church. We also are beginning to save our own money to pass on this wonderful gift and continue the tradition. This was such a blessing to us, and a huge thank you goes out to whoever did this for our family. God Bless.
