My dad was fired during the summer and hasn’t been able to get another job due to his bad wrists and insufficient education for an easier job. My mom is a crossing guard. We didn’t have much of an income coming in and were struggling to pay bills. Then one Sunday evening a police man knocked on our door and gave us a gift basket with a jar filled with money inside. Our whole family was so humbled and thankful for whoever it was that reached out and helped to give our family a better Christmas.
