I started this tradition over 6 years ago with my family after reading the book that was given to me. I read it in one day and like many was inspired to do the same. After I read the book, I signed it with name and state and gave it to someone I thought would appreciate it. Within 30 days the book had gone to 13 people in 7 different states! This book has the chance to change America by the thousands it has reached. I now buy a copy of the box each year and my family and I write an inspiring message but never sign our names. We have located our “angels” by the news, friends of friends or even over hearing someone in line at the grocery store and following them home. I know this is semi stalking but it is for a great cause. We use to give our Jar out on Christmas eve but have now changed it so the money can be used to enjoy Christmas day with what they wanted or needed.

Our Jar has traveled to 4 different states over the past 6 years and I can’t wait to see who the lucky recipient of this years jar is. We will be giving it out this weekend. I can’t praise this book enough for what it has taught me, my family and hopefully the recipients!
