Our house burned to the ground two days before Halloween. We lost everything except the clothes on our backs. My son pulled me from the front door when my smoke inhalation took over. His bare foot was badly burned. Every day I get new medical bills. On Christmas morning there was a jar filled with change and a gift-wrapped copy of the book with my name printed on it. At first I was puzzled, then I saw the title of the book. I plan to start my own jar as soon as we find another place to call home. The kindness of strangers is amazing!
