As a tradition, on Christmas Eve, I go with our son and his family to go shopping and buy items for homeless people. We give them a bag filled with wonderful, useful items. If we are inspired, we give the Christmas Jar out to someone. The first year we did this, we gave it to a homeless couple that we saw on the street.

They were so excited and tears of joy filled my eyes and heart.

The last two years, we have thought of someone in our son’s ward that is struggling. We take it to their home and our granddaughter puts it at their door, knocks and run. We look forward to this every year.
