‘I was able to pick up one of my medications and buy a Christmas ham’

Libby, Montana

Going through a tough time with a recent cancer diagnosis. I am unable to purchase the medications my doctors are giving me. I don’t have medical insurance. Our only income in my 19 yr old sons military Guard pay. We have gotten used to not having holiday meals as the cost isn’t in our budget. Last week I received a mason jar at my door. It was night and someone knocked then ran. I have never heard of this giving of jars before until yesterday when I mentioned it to a friend. I was directed to go to this page and whaaaa laaaa! I feel so privileged I was chosen for this gift. I was able to pick up one of my medications and buy a Christmas ham. Truely a blessing bestowed upon us this season!
