As a family, we all added to the money jar. We then asked around to local teachers, etc. to find possible recipients. On a snowy Christmas Eve, we loaded up the car and left the surprise on the porch.

Not sure how much was in the jar, but I’m sure it was still a nice surprise to a well deserving family during these difficult times.

We are continuing the tradition this year and even have recruited my brother in the process.  I can’t wait for Christmas Eve!
